Job Description:

To manage all utilities maintenance activities in the manufacturing facility to ensure adherence to production schedules and maximize productivity.



1.    Incumbent should have very good exposure into utilities maintenance.

2.    Overall responsibility for all maintenance activities including annual maintenance contracts, breakdown maintenance of all equipment, and preventive maintenance systems.

3.    Manage and oversee all facility utilities, including, but not limited to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, water systems, fire and sprinkler systems, etc.

4.    Initiate and lead Energy conservation projects.

5.    Preparation and control of annual plant maintenance budgets.

6.    Maintenance planning and control.

7.    Developing vendors for spares and contractors for outside maintenance services

8.    Safety of personnel, facilities and equipment.

9.    Overall responsibility for adherence to local laws, pollution control laws, fire and explosives, safety, electrical installations etc.

10.  Overall responsibility for Plant Maintenance activities including maintenance of all equipment, and preventive maintenance systems.

11.  Monitoring & Improving the efficiencies of all equipment in utilities.

12.  supervision of the personnel within the section ensuring optimal completion of responsibilities and adherence to contract PWS requirements Responsible for the creation, compilation and disposition of standard operating procedures and work instructions pertaining to the section and its workforce personnel.

13.  Coordination of section personnel with the assigned daily workload, ensuring maximum efficiency among the diverse activities, including distribution and retrieval of work orders monitoring progress, supporting supply requirements, and determining specific work requirements where precise instructions are lacking.

14.  Monitors completion of preventive maintenance, and emergency and urgent work Monitors work quality of section personnel


  Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation and Maintenance of Utility equipment’s

  Ability to be on call or work off hours as needed

  Demonstrated ability to work independently with attention to detail and organizational abilities

  Superior analytical/ problem solving, written and verbal communications

  Experience working with local regulatory agencies preferred.

  Excellent interpersonal communications skills
