Volt has an excellent opportunity for an individual with recruitment experience! As part of our team in Santa Maria, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and qualifying candidates. The position will consist of all of the following job duties:

+ Recruit and identify candidates who meet the qualifications, skills and experience requirements of job openings.

+ Enter client and candidate information into data base.

+ Clearly and effectively communicate with clients and candidates.

+ Establish recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with managers to discuss needs.

+ Build applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; creating presentations; maintaining rapport.

+ Determine applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.

+ Attract applicants by placing job advertisements; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.

+ Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing qualifications to job requirements.

+ Arrange management interviews by coordinating schedules; arranging travel, lodging, and meals; escorting applicant to interviews; arranging community tours.

+ Evaluate applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.

+ Manage new employee relocation by determining new employee requirements; negotiating with movers; arranging temporary housing; providing community introductions.

+ Improve organization appeal by recommending new policies and practices; monitoring job offers and compensation practices; emphasizing benefits and perks.

Recruitment experience is a MUST. Bachelor's degree preferred. Strong written and verbal skills, Proficiency in Word, Outlook and Excel. Bilingual is preferred but not required.
