Director Customized Audits
High growth potential role for a customized audit expert!
The Director Customized Audit services is responsible for managing the development, sales and delivery of Food and Customized audit services and develop and implement processes and controls that maximize the efficiency, productivity and profitability of the department.
The position manages the service development, sales and service delivery teams and provide direction and assistance to achieve desired efficiency levels, customer satisfaction and organization’s objectives and targets.
Develop the strategic plan for the business unit, submit to approval and manage its implementation
Identify opportunities to develop new innovative services related to the Food and Customized audits in line with the market needs and conceptualize new products / services ideas.
Provide directions and implement supervisory controls in the new product / service development process and participate in the validation of service concept, market acceptance, parameters and deliverables.
Ensure that all Food & Customized audit projects are effectively managed by the Project teams on time, within budget and by meeting all Key performance indicators and deliverables.
Ensure that P&L of business unit meet the defined objectives.
Prepare budget and forecast for the business unit to submit to the Vice President
Maintain and retain an effective work team through the recruitment, selection and development of personnel.
Analyze and report operational data and develop periodic performance reports and propose improvement actions for the review of Vice President, Certification and the senior management.
Maintain effective working relationships with other Directors and key personnel to ensure that there is an effective co-ordination of all relevant functions in support of business objectives.
Maintain positive relations with clients and reviews major complaints from clients to the purpose of resolving issues and taking corrective actions.
Keeps the Vice President, Certification informed of customer service related issues and their impact upon our business.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President, Certification.
Qualifications (Basic Essentials):
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
5 -10 years of industry experience (preferably in Food processing sector)
3-5 years of experience in managing similar nature of project / services in the capacity of department or project manager.
Ability to use analytical thinking to make critical decisions and solve business problems
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills highlighting communications excellence and professionalism
Effective team working abilities
Self-motivated, detail oriented, with high-regard for meeting deadlines.
Strong computer skills (high proficiency in Microsoft Excel)
Master’s degree in business management or equivalent qualification in project management.
3 years of experience in managing similar portfolio of services related to customized audits with a reputable organization.
Experience in managing large scale projects in Food regulatory compliance, Supply Chain, Network Conformity Assessment fields or Responsible Sourcing.
